Paganism and Parents: Advice for Pagan Children

Posted by Mystere de la Nuit on Wednesday, January 11, 2012,
I just got a piece of email from a girl re: a comment I made on this Catholic article about a book on the dangers of Wicca, thanking me for my telling my story and how I gave her hope about being a Pagan child of restricting Christian parents. Lauren said that both she and her mother are natural healers and that she often recieved crystals as gifts, but after her parents read the aforementioned book, she was forced to throw them out. She has never come out of the broom closet, and is afraid t...

Email questions!

Posted by Mystere de la Nuit on Monday, December 26, 2011,
Oh, excitement! I got my first bit of email back in October (I know, it's been a few months, but anyway) from a lovely girl named Selena. I asked her if I could put her emails and my answers on the blog, and she said yes, so here's the transcripts!

This triggers an interesting, very deep conversation about religion, teachings, and choices -  which, of course, has its moments of argumentative speech. Someone else says that it's a really difficult subject...

Darkest blessings

Posted by Mystere de la Nuit on Monday, August 9, 2010,
Hello and welcome to my first blog. ^.^

Before I get started, I feel that I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't mention a problem that faces the Pagan community today: religious symbol discrimination. Check out these links about the story of Sky Holeman, a Wiccan high school student who had her pentacle necklaces confiscated and never returned to her, and who was supended for wearing pentacles drawn in makeup on her face on Mabon, despite the fact that Christian students had no limitatio...
